HB 224-CIGARETTE SALES REQUIREMENTS VICE CHAIR OGAN announced HB 224 to be up for consideration. MR. MIKE BARNHILL, Assistant Attorney General, said this is a bill that enhances the state's ability to enforce its non- participating manufacturer escrow requirements protecting the revenue stream the state gets under the Master Settlement Agreement. SENATOR THERRIAULT moved to pass HB 224 from committee with attached fiscal notes with individual recommendations. There were no objections and it was so ordered.
